Dried Single
Ginger
Coming soon
What it is
Dried ginger root, sliced or cracked, loose by weight — warm and a little sharp, the kind of heat that builds instead of hitting all at once.
The sensory experience
Sliced dry, it still smells faintly sweet before you even add water — then the heat arrives a beat after the first sip, building rather than announcing itself. Good on a cold morning, better if your stomach’s unsettled.
Materials
- Ginger root (Zingiber officinale)
How it may be used
- Steeped alone, a few slices per cup, 8–10 minutes — the longer it goes, the more heat it gives up
- Added to other blends for warmth (it's part of Settle)
- Simmered longer on the stove for a stronger, spicier cup
Safety & use notes
- Not intended to replace medical care. Consult a doctor if pregnant, nursing, on blood thinners, or on medication.
